Volume 09: A Fever Issue

This issue looks at fever in its many forms: illness and recovery, urgency and obsession, passion and delirium. We are interested in the ways fever unsettles, sharpens, and transforms. The pieces collected here move between the bodily and the emotional, the surreal and the political, creating a space where heat and intensity take many shapes.

  • We publish fiction, poetry, nonfiction, art and photography that align with the theme of each issue. Our magazine values bold storytelling, compelling perspectives, and work that challenges, examines, or reimagines the world in meaningful ways.

  • Our response time varies, but we aim to reply within a few weeks to a few months. If you haven’t heard from us after that time, feel free to follow up.

  • At this time, we are unable to offer payment for accepted work. However, contributors receive a complimentary copy of the issue as a token of our appreciation.

  • Due to the high volume of submissions, we generally do not provide feedback. However, if an editor expresses interest in seeing more of your work, we encourage you to submit again in the future.
